kcachegrind-dbg software package provides debugging symbols for the KDE Software Development Kit module, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kcachegrind-dbg
kcachegrind-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kcachegrind-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kcachegrind-dbg *
You will get with kcachegrind-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
